OSD TEAM OVERVIEW 

The OSD team is a cross-functional internal consulting group focusing on platform development, scalability initiatives and strategic projects that enhance the firm's global operating model. The team emphasizes collaboration and partnership with Engineering and the business to achieve measurable risk reduction and scalability. The team is comprised of twelve professionals and executives in New York, Dublin, and Gurugram and reports to the Global Head of Operations. OSD’s key stakeholders are the firm’s COO, Chief Information Officer, Global Head of Finance, and Global Head of Operations

POSITION OVERVIEW

KKR is seeking a hire to join The Operating Strategy & Development (“OSD”) Team. Our hire will engage on end-to-end strategy execution across our business functions.

Projects are expected to be varied, and have recently included:

  • Integration efforts associated with acquisition and/or establishment of wholly owned subsidiaries that establish new capabilities, services, and investment channels. Evaluate functions, processes, policies, technology, and controls that require alignment or integration with a focus on risk reduction and scalability.
  • Establishing a business operations office in Gurugram, India to help support the growth of the firm.
  • Rollout and operationalizing new investment products and investor experiences in collaboration with product, client, operations, and technology teams.
  • Standing up a co-invest platform for Credit & Markets business, allowing KKR internal capital to be invested alongside deals.
  • Implementing technology to systematically ingest fund administration data, ensuring seamless integration to underlying client reports 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with members across Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, HR, Corporate Services and Risk teams to understand, document, and ultimately drive change to key business processes
  • Manage the delivery (end-to-end ownership from ideation to completion) of transformation projects including diligence, project planning design, implementation/execution, and stakeholder management.
  • Coordinate and act as liaison across all impacted teams and KKR senior leadership.
  • Accountable for driving consensus amongst impacted stakeholders and project plan execution

QUALIFIFCATIONS      

A successful candidate typically will have 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services or alternative asset management. Backgrounds in consulting, corporate strategy, business operations / management, or fund administration are targeted.

  • Experience working in or servicing an alternative asset manager or financial institution
  • Strong project management skills and experience: Delivery-focused with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and manage expectations and deadlines
  • Adept in MS Office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Risk management mindset and intuition
  • Proven product, process, and project management experience
  • Design and implementation of complex program roadmaps
  • Demonstrated problem solving experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets
  • Ability to independently develop and present executive level presentations including supporting analysis, recommendations, and considerations
  • Comfort with math (science, technology, engineering, or math degree, current role, hobbies, etc.)
  • Proven high achiever in academic context
  • Strong communication and relationship building abilities

This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
Base Salary Range
$130,000$160,000 USD
