The Customer Lifecycle Data Steward sits within the Global Data Management Team, and will be reporting directly to the Customer Lifecycle Supervisor. This role will be responsible for ensuring master data, used by Bose in SAP & other platforms, is complete & accurate so that sales related operations can transact smoothly, and works closely with IT, Sales, Order Management, Invoice to Cash, Logistics Groups. This role also coordinates the operational data governance: establishes data policies, procedures & standards, performs tests on data systems, ensures data quality & integrity so it can effectively support the business. Location and schedule: Lisbon, Portugal (Av. Defensores Chaves 45, Lisboa) with Hybrid working.
Main areas of responsibility
Create Data Quality reports to assess overall completeness & accuracy of customer lifecycle master data
Define and enforce Data Governance framework (including the management of data, data policies and standards etc.)
Play a pivotal role in ensuring data compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
Support business with required data maintenance tickets, solve incidents and change requests
Ensure data quality, compliance, and consistency of master data across business systems
Work with business units and process experts to resolve master data issues
Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas and regions
Coordinate customer lifecycle master data setup, validation, and periodic maintenance
Monitor master data processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Assist in defining standard operating procedures, process flows and related documentation
Drive continuous improvements leveraging technology and lean tools
Work across domain functions to reduce complexity aligning processes and outcomes
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert of Customer Lifecycle Master Data for cross-functional and corporate initiatives
Create and provide training to internal customers
Handle other ad-hoc requests as needed
Critical Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Data, Finance, IT domain or similar
Experience with SAP ECC
Good Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and winshuttle skills
Good data literacy
English Fluency, excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and set priorities
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Customer service mindset with big picture perspective
Proactivity and curiosity
Attention to detail & results-driven
Organizational and cultural awareness
