The Opportunity
As a Senior IT Project Manager for HR Applications, you will drive the successful implementation and integration of new solutions into Hitachi Energy’s HCM ecosystem. This is a high-impact role, managing stakeholder expectations, coordinating with global teams, and ensuring the organization benefits from the default global integration setup.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead strategic HR IT initiatives with a strong focus on business outcomes
Align project goals with organizational priorities while navigating complex global environments
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service packages to secure optimal terms for Hitachi Energy
Collaborate with Group colleagues and global stakeholders, including HR, to ensure seamless project delivery
Champion cross-cultural communication and leverage virtual collaboration tools
Proactively identify and address unknowns, driving clarity and structure in ambiguous situations
Advocate for internal needs while balancing external vendor constraints to maximize value from global integrations
Your Background
Proven experience leading large-scale, strategic IT projects, ideally in HR applications
Strong business-driven leadership and negotiation skills
Excellent English proficiency; skilled in cross-cultural communication
Experience managing vendor relationships and service package negotiations
Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving structured problem-solving
Familiarity with Workday, LMS platforms (such as CSOD), and SSO setup processes
Understanding of GDPR and data governance requirements, especially in learning record migration
Ability to coordinate adoption campaigns and training webinars, leveraging vendor offerings
Documented certification in Project Management standard processes
