Job Purpose

  • The job holder is accountable for the implementation or roll out of MES project inside GIO (Global Industrial Operations).
  • The function is critical for GSK Vaccines, especially in terms of GMP compliance, but also as a key enabler for GSK Vaccines growth (data mining, lead time reduction and efficiencies). Indeed, by developing and keeping standardized Business Processes, the job holder facilitates the integration of new sites/MU and maintains integration of existing sites/MU within the GIO network.
  • The job holder will be active in our digital transformation
  • The job holder acts as a key interface between other Global Business Owner (GBO), local Business Owner (LBO) located in all GIO sites, Subject Matter Experts (SME) and the Tech organization, and prevent sub-optimization of the Business Process leading to non-integration and business disruption.
  • Specifically, as pre-requisite of the deployment for S4Hana, the eMBR available in SAP Vx ECC (MPMS/RABS/INFLUDATA) must migrate to MES Opcenter. It implies the creation of a core library. The job holder is accountable for the creation of this library (eg. Requirements definition and UAT). It implies also the creation of all the eMBR in MES. The job holder facilitates and supports the sites (Belgium/Marburg/Dresden/Singapore) while moving all the eMBR from SAP Vx ECC (MPMS/RABS/INFLUDATA) to MES Opcenter.
  • The job holder plays a key role in a crucial migration project in a challenging timeframe for enabling New SAP implementation and Business continuity for productions units
  • Please note that this position within the GBO team is for a duration of 3 years, specifically for the duration of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the strict application in the entire Vx Network of the approved Template. Refer to Global Function or GSME accountable in case of derogation to approved Business Rules and Key practices
    • Deliver the core library required to build the existing eMBR (MPMS/RABS/INFLUDATA)
    • Maintain the core libraries of MES functionalities
    • Drive the migration of the eMBR from SAP Vx ECC (MPMS/RABS/INFLUDATA) to MES Opcenter
    • Drive Gap Analysis, ensure integration with other Business Processes that are not under his accountability but will be impacted by the changes, propose solutions during project execution
    • Provide expertise and appropriate resources to coach and train local trainers on business flows.
    • Act as Third line Help desk Business for MES
    • Maintain documentation updated and validated
    • Provide the input to the training owner for training manuals and train the trainers.
    • Support GBO Head during Community of Practices and Demand Management with Local BPM and SMEs
    • Participate in Business Process risk assessment review with the Business

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bioengineer, Process Engineer or Business Engineer.
  • Excellent knowledge as end-user and project manager of SAP modules related with his/her business process.
  • Experience in ERP or digital solutions as user or project manager is key (5-7 years experience).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing activities (Media preparation/Primary & secondary operations/maintenance/calibration/ validation/ asset) is a must.
  • Expertise in Project Management and Validation Methodology of Automated systems (GAMP).
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience in MPMS/RABS/INFLUDATA as user or project manager is key.
  • Good knowledge of GSK Vaccines Organization, especially in developing partnership with Tech organization and GSK Vaccine network.
  • Champion for Change Management.
  • Agile experience is an asset
