Overview
The Center for Inclusive Growth (CFIG) is the social impact hub at Mastercard. The organization seeks to ensure that the benefits of an expanding economy accrue to all segments of society. Through actionable research, impact data science, programmatic grants, stakeholder engagement and global partnerships, the Center advances equitable and sustainable economic growth and financial inclusion around the world. The Center’s work is at the heart of Mastercard’s objective to be a force for good in the world.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Social Impact, Americas, the Vice President (VP) for Social Impact, North America will lead the development and execution of CFIG’s strategy in the region, overseeing programmatic work, partnerships, and grant-making.
Role
• This position will be responsible for developing and implementing the Center’s programmatic strategy across the Americas (North, South & Central.)
• S/he will be responsible for identifying and fostering programs that promote financial inclusion and support the connection of micro-entrepreneurs to the growth markets and/or the formal economy.
• S/he will be a key member of the team responsible for advancing the mission and priorities of the Center through partnerships with public and private influencers and stakeholders.

• Do you love making lightning-fast connections between people, issues and resources while solving for scalable programs?
• Can your friends point to programs that you initiated and are still around? Have you managed global programs under tight deadlines with strong metrics?
•Working with the Global Director of Social Impact, develop, implement and adapt programs across a variety of geographies and platforms.
•Develop and execute strategic, long-term partnerships between the Center and top tier non-profit organizations that focus on scale and impact.
• Represent the Center internally and externally as a thought leader on issues related to financial inclusion and inclusive growth. Tap and/or build a network of key influencers; organize and/or participate in conferences and convenings.
• Collaborate with the marketing, content and communications teams to ensure accurate positioning and amplification of our programmatic efforts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, including business and product leaders, communications, marketing, public policy, advisors and the executive office.

• Experience developing, managing and negotiating highly visible, metric driven, external partnerships
• Proven track record leading social impact programs, including a deep understanding of the inter-relationship between business and community needs
• Experience in evaluation and measurement of philanthropic programs
•Expert at managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams
•Solution-oriented / problem solving approach and comfortable working independently
• Skill at real-time (immediate) content creation, briefing prep and speech writing
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation tools and skills
• Adept in an all-hands-on-deck environment
• Strong management (people and projects), problem solving, analytical, quantitative communication and organizational skills
• Excellent English oral, written, presentation communication skills
• Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Spanish language proficiency preferred

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. New York City, New York: $222,000 - $366,000 USD
Atlanta, Georgia: $185,000 - $305,000 USD
