Position Summary                                                                                                                                  

The Coordinator, Stakeholder Relations is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with current key stakeholders in targeted provinces, identifying potential strategic partners to ensure strategic growth, the implementation of engagement activities/ sales events to generate inquiries for Higher Education programs.

The key performance outputs of this role will focus on the successful implementation of engagement activities, positive feedback from stakeholders and effectiveness of work relating directly to the number of students enrolled in Higher Education programs on an annual basis

Key Accountabilities

Stakeholder engagement activities

  • Build and maintain strong relationship with key external stakeholders (high schools, universities and colleges, domestic partner institutions and government educational entities) who are critical to the success of student recruitment and marketing activities.
  • Coordinate and execute related stakeholder engagement activities, with reference to high schools to ensure they meet expectations. Report the effectiveness of those activities on a timely basis.
  • Develop an annual activity plan, resulting from engagement initiatives, that enhance stakeholder relations and create opportunities to interact with high school students to generate sales pipelines.
  • Keep abreast of market movement and any arising needs concerned by key external stakeholders and feed them back to line manager and relevant stakeholders on timely basis. Maintain up to date market knowledge of competitors and their product offerings to understand and promote points of differentiation to constantly update close sale pitch.
  • Conduct information session about RMIT Programs, admissions to partner institution/high schools/ prospective students whenever it is required
  • Collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to organise recruitment events for targeted high schools, to collect leads and identify prospective students.
  • Perform any other duties that may be required by line manager.

Customer Services

  • Effectively consult and provide advice and feedback on RMIT and its programs, entry requirements, admissions and selection processes for potential parents and students at recruitment events including events at high schools.
  • Effectively communicate and respond to enquiries from high school partners in a transparent and clear manner, either via email, phone, or face to face interactions.
  • Coordinate with Student Administration and Student Admission teams to follow up and/or address any issues in the selection processes including, but not limited to, responding to and helping potential students referred by high schools.
  • Coordinate and monitor the activities and events relating to key stakeholders, especially high schools, to ensure they meet their expectations.

CRM database management

  • Follow the data entry guidelines and processes to ensure stakeholder information is up to date.
  • Ensure engagement activities are captured in the CRM on a timely basis.
  • Generate reports on the effectiveness of engagement events and activities.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Key Selection Criteria

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ working in an educational or service-based industry.
  • Demonstrated high level communication skills, written, and spoken (English and Vietnamese)
  • Well-developed and demonstrable strong interpersonal skills, including flexible negotiation, liaison, and cross-cultural communication specifically related to excellent customer service and sales functions
  • Demonstrated good presentation skills in front of large number of audiences
  • Experience of data input and maintenance of CRM type records with high level of attention to detail and accuracy when inputting, managing, and communicating information.
  • Ability to generate a variety of activity reports
  • Demonstrated in implementing new processes
  • Well-developed planning, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to supervise, coordinate and/or implement tasks in a timely fashion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
  • Awareness of current challenges and ‘best practice’ in relation to customer service
  • Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position, as per the RMIT Behavioural Capability Framework (Connectedness, Commitment to Excellence – Improve and Simplify; Imagination and Innovation; Impact; Inclusion; Agility).

English Proficiency

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS (General) score of at least 6.0 (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines).

For any role, English Language Proficiency may also be proven by showing successful completion of secondary education to a level qualifying to enter university study while being instructed through the medium of English, as per the RMIT University recognised qualification list.
