Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers. We offer market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.

Home Buying Manage & Own Crew is responsible for in-life experience of our Home Loan customers ensuring customers maximise value from their loan, can make changes when they need to and discharge their loans seamlessly.

We support customers across all channels, Digital, Proprietary and Third-Party Brokers as well as our partners in the Group Operations Customer Retention team.

Impact & contribution:

As Product Owner (Manage & Own Crew) you are responsible for the end-to-end strategy & development of capability that supports product/products within a squad.

You will partner with various stakeholders internal & external to deliver initiatives contributing to a fantastic customer experience, balancing commercial outcomes and managing risk within regulatory requirements and organisational risk appetite.

Drive our customer obsession and tangible results that contribute to our NPS +30 goal.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Defining product vision, goals and roadmap aligned with the Home Buying Manage & Own Crew objective. Developing & owning the roadmap for assigned in life experiences. Translate the roadmap to a prioritised backlog in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Prioritisation of customer experience, operational efficiency, Risk & Resilience enhancements in accordance with scope, budget & time constraints.
  • Designing new experiences or enhancing existing ones to address identified needs or opportunities.
  • Leading a team of Business analysts and Software engineers creating a psychologically safe, inclusive, autonomous and high-performance culture.
  • Identifying risk, dependencies and issues for the squad in line with excellent management of operational risk and compliance outcomes.
  • Building and fostering strong relationships across the product value chain, including Digital, frontline teams, Operations, Compliance, and Finance
  • Continuously improving performance, agility and resiliency of technology assets owned by the squad.

Essential Skills:

12 Years are industry Experience.

  • Creating product vision, translating it to a roadmap & prioritized backlog for the team.
  • Manage & build traction on backlog progression. Deliver using Scaled Agile methodology.
  • Setting up & building self-organizing empowered teams.
  • Commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in Cloud & DevOps is desirable.
  • Experience in retail banking and home loans desirable.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
