About the Role & Program:
Disney Entertainment Television develops and produces compelling programming and some of the most successful talked-about series on television today! The Publicity team is responsible for handling all publicity/communication efforts for ABC Entertainment, Hulu Originals, Freeform, Onyx Collective and 20th Television. As our intern, you would assist the department in all areas on a rotation schedule.
What You Will Do:
Rotate among various publicity teams within Disney Entertainment Television, supporting numerous leaders and project work
Build and maintain schedules and press lists; assist in writing press releases, loglines, press blasts and bios
Curate and disseminate information to team, including daily press breaks and raves tracking
Send materials to press
Support team at publicity and related events
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and publicity strategy meetings
Collaborate on social media efforts
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Excellent writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills working with colleagues across departments at all levels
Hardworking, proactive, eager to learn and willing to take initiative
Strong attention to detail, well organized, with positive relationship building skills
Ability to take direction from multiple partners, balance projects, prioritize tasks while working in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based environment.
Knowledgeable about social media
Ability to handle confidential information
Previous media/PR internship experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Education
Junior or Senior year preferred
Major or previous coursework with a business, entertainment, Film/ Television
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information:
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through August 2026
Availability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) in-office for the duration of the internship. Work hours are 9am-6pm PT, Monday - Friday, but may include some early mornings/nights/weekends.
Able to provide own housing for the duration of internship program in the Burbank, CA area
Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work in the Burbank, CA area
