What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

  • Master's degree in a social science field plus at least (4) years of experience in a behavioral health field.
  • One (1) year of direct supervisory experience preferred
  • Licensed as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC
  • Valid California Driver's License.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

This position has primary responsibility for oversight of mental health and case management services to children and their families referred to a community services program. The Program Manager may have their own caseload in addition to overseeing their staff.

Division/Program Overview:

  • The program sees adults (18+) and older adults. 
  • It is a FULLY community-based program - all services happen at a person's home or community. 
  •  The clients have complex needs - medication, housing, vocational, independent living and mental health. 
  • The intensity for services for each client is about 10 hours per month and once we are fully up and running, we'll have a census of about 50 adults. 
  • We are preparing to also start an Adult Outpatient Program which this position would oversee as well. Eventually, this position will have all our adult programs, including IHOT.

In accordance with California law, the grade for this position is 92,320.46 - 147,712.74. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
