The Strategic Account Manager Leisure Sales, UK & Ireland, is required to manage a portfolio of key customers within the UKI Leisure Sales channel including Retail and Wholesale Trade Partners, Online Travel Agents and Niche Specialists Agents. You will work to maximise revenue, increase yield, retain existing business and develop new business opportunities through these partners and understand the customer strategy to build a strong, robust relationship with the customer.

You will also be required to implement strategy and priorities which align with international and global sales objectives and broader Qantas Group objectives and strategies. 

 

You’ll have:

  • Selling, account management and business planning skills developed in a competitive customer service environment
  • Strong commercial orientation and a solid level of business acumen
  • Confident negotiation, communication, organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Ability to work autonomously and remotely
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Solid knowledge and awareness of the UK/I airline and travel industry
  • Understanding of IATA NDC developments within the travel industry
  • Extensive knowledge of Qantas product and processes
  • High level of IT literacy, including a good working knowledge of MS Office, high level knowledge of Salesforce
  • The ability to work and live in the UK
