Job Description:

 Full-time position based at our Pleasant Grove corporate office with functions at multiple locations responsible for overseeing inventory control functions at multiple locations, domestic and international, to maintain inventory systems accuracy, minimize risk, and ensure inventory needs are met while assisting with other operations tasks as needed.
 
Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory control functions at various locations, domestic and international, including company controlled, 3PL providers, and contract manufacturers ensuring processes are clearly established and followed to provide timely and accurate inventory information

  • Develop inventory management strategy with aim to achieve desired service levels and data accuracy while controlling costs and generating savings 

  • Administer and perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories, identify weaknesses and design processes to ensure future accuracy

  • Create, track and report operational KPIs

  • Develop, document, and maintain SOPs for all inventory control processes and functions

  • Report inventory metrics to Finance and assist other departments as needed with inventory issues

  • Monitor obsolete, discontinued, or expired inventory and complete inventory disposition

  • Assist as key contributor to selection and implementation of ERP system

  • Assist and monitor manufacturing as needed to ensure inventory is accurately assigned to work orders

Job Qualifications:

  • Lead inventory control team to accomplish objectives for all projects and routine tasks

  • BS Degree in supply chain, operations management, or similar

  • 3-5 years’ experience in inventory management, operations, or supply chain management

  • Experience working with 3PLs and international markets preferred

  • Effective and clear writing skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel 

  • APICS CPIM or similar certification a plus

  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects concurrently

  • Experience managing inventory using lot/batch, revision, unique identifier tracking, etc.

  • Advanced understanding of inventory and supply chain concepts

  • Math proficiency

  • Quick learner and attention to detail

  • Ability to work toward and meet specified deadlines

  • Ability to lift 35-50 lbs repeatedly

  • Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision in identifying tasks that need to be complete
