Ensures all applicable regulatory (OSHA, FDA, DOT, EPA) requirements are met and applicable training and recordkeeping is performed to meet departmental and location deadlines.
Ensures compliance with all Specialty, Medical and Food Gas Standard Operating Procedures, SMS and ISO requirements.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for all Daily Production Tracking
Enters daily production data for the plant
Enters daily production data for each plant filler’s log
Enters daily retest data
Enters daily driver data
Responsible for Vendor Purchases
Creates purchase orders
Places the orders for multiple plants (getting pricing, lead times and other information from the vendors)
Receives products and closes out the purchase order
Resolves Vendor invoice issues
Responsible for Shipment/Delivery Tracking
Creates the delivery/shipment documents; makes edits as requested
Closes shipments, completes trip reports and enters the data in a google sheet
Sets up Common Carrier Loads with AFS logistics when required
Manages COGI’s (Cost of Goods Inventory); maintains cylinder inventory in the system
Delivers CS2 behaviors to all internal/external customers.
Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed; including coding, costing and pricing.
Ensure all administrative and accounting related procedures are strictly observed.
Receives, classifies, and routes incoming mail.
May conduct limited research of records for information relating to invoices, packing slips, purchase orders, delivery receipts, payments, credits, or other matters related to the function of the employing plant.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

Demonstrated ability as a highly motivated individual who performs exceptionally well in an administrative capacity.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, self-starter, self-motivation, sense of urgency, personable, extroverted personality, well organized, ability to achieve goals, ability to focus and pay attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
Ability to read and comprehend safety data sheets.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Administrative Certificate from an accredited technical school, college/university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Basic knowledge of Google/Microsoft Office applications
Experience with SAP and/or a production planning module preferred.
