The Crypto team is at the forefront of Wealthsimple's expansion into decentralized finance, working to democratize access to crypto for millions of Canadians. We're a passionate group of crypto-native engineers and product experts building the next generation of non-custodial crypto products. Our team combines Wealthsimple's commitment to simplicity and transparency with cutting-edge blockchain technology to create secure, user-friendly crypto experiences that put users in full control of their digital assets.

As a Senior Crypto Software Developer, you'll be instrumental in building Wealthsimple's non-custodial crypto infrastructure from the ground up. You'll work at the intersection of traditional fintech and decentralized protocols, helping to bridge the gap between complex blockchain technology and intuitive user experiences. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape how over a million crypto clients interact with decentralized finance while maintaining Wealthsimple's high standards for security, reliability, and user experience.

🤑 Base salary range: For this role, candidates located in Canada can expect a base salary range of CAD $151,200 - $189,000. Actual compensation is determined based on skills, experience, and role level. Exceptional candidates may be considered above the top of the range, and pay can increase quickly for those who make a big impact in the role.

🚀 Total compensation: In addition to base salary, this role includes equity compensation. We use clear job levels and market-based salary bands to ensure compensation is fair and consistent across the company.
