Performance Engineer (4–6 Years Experience)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Performance Engineer with strong hands-on experience in performance testing of web applications, APIs, and databases. The candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure applications meet scalability, reliability, and performance expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute performance tests (load, stress, endurance, scalability) for multiple applications
Develop performance test plans, scenarios, and scripts based on NFRs and architecture
Execute tests using tools like JMeter and analyze results
Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools such as New Relic, SolarWinds, Kibana, Grafana, or similar
Identify performance bottlenecks and support root cause analysis
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to troubleshoot and validate fixes
Prepare concise performance test reports with observations and recommendations
Required Skills & Experience
4–6 years of experience in performance testing
Strong knowledge of performance testing concepts and methodologies
Hands-on experience with JMeter (mandatory)
Experience testing web applications, APIs, and databases
Understanding of system metrics (response time, throughput, CPU, memory, etc.)
Experience with monitoring and profiling tools
Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Strong analytical and communication skills
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
