What Product and Solutions Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Product & Solutions Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and  life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.


Job Summary

The Spec, Product/ Market is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. This job answers inbound calls and inquires including contract questions and services functionality. The Product/ Market Specialist maintains department established performance metrics at a meets or exceeds expectations level. This job communicates Cardinal Health’s reimbursement programs and serves as a primary point of contact for retail independent customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manages incoming calls from retail independent customers regarding Cardinal Health segment offerings.
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's concern, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem and expediting correction or adjustment.
  • Logs customer interactions in the CRM system and tracks tickets to resolution.
  • Escalates customers calls accordingly based on customer inquiries and level of complexity.
  • Follows communication procedures, guidelines and policies.


Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
