The Senior HR Technology Workday Specialist candidate is responsible for identifying issues and proposing solutions within the enterprise digital HR Technology ecosystem primarily centered around Reporting.  Additional focus for consulting and advising enterprise leaders and stakeholders. 

The right candidate will have a strong background in Workday configuration and exceptional consultative and problem-solving skills to join our People Technology team. In this role, you will develop strong partnerships with teams across our sister companies to understand and deliver on business needs while contributing to our mission of optimizing our Workday investment, expanding its use as a strategic tool, and driving a positive user experience.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Play a critical role in providing subject matter expertise across the enterprise's digital HR ecosystem, working cross-functionally to build and deliver solutions.

  • Research, lead, and deliver Workday configuration projects, ensuring alignment with HR strategy and business goals.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess needs, identify system enhancements, and implement solutions, working in close partnership with HR, Finance, Payroll, and external vendor partners.

  • Provide expert advice on Workday Reporting functionality primarily, along with managing reporting and security designs.

  • Conduct regular system audits and updates to ensure data integrity, efficacy of system feeds, and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation on processes, configuration, and workflows.

  • Train HR colleagues and end-users in our client populations on Workday functionality and HR Technology leading practice.

  • Managing stakeholder communications and provide support for HR Technology-related queries and issues.

  • Lead the integration and management of Workday during occasional acquisitions to ensure seamless HR Technology transitions and data consolidation.

  • Stay updated with the latest Workday releases and HR technology trends to recommend enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 yrs of experience in HR Technology with a strong focus on Workday Security and Reporting configuration.

  • In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM and its modules. Workday certification(s) desired.

  • Proven track record of managing Workday implementations or upgrade projects.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills required.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Superior PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft applications skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
 

Work is typically conducted remotely or primarily in an indoor office environment with protection from weather conditions and with exposure to noise typical of an office or administrative setting.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
 

Work can involve lifting and carrying up to ten to twenty (10 – 20) lbs.; standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching; occasional kneeling and stooping; operating office equipment; occasional driving likely; visual acuity to prepare, read, and organize detailed hard copy and electronic documents; ability to speak and to hear the spoken word in normal face-to-face, telephonic, and web-based business communications.

Willingness to travel in a work capacity. Willingness to accommodate occasional meetings and work activities that may be scheduled after normal daytime business hours.
