About the Role:

You will report to our new Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). It will be based in our Cork office, and will be a hybrid role. You will run current operations in Third Party Risk, looking for operational enhancement opportunities and how the program can be improved. It's a great opportunity to be hands on and start building something new.

You Will:

  • Manage the Third Party Risk Management program
  • Facilitate the identification and remediation of operational issues in the program
  • Guide continuous evolution of the Third Party Risk Management program
  • Identify opportunities for synergies across the organization
  • Coordinate with our teams and third parties to conduct criticality assessments, due diligence reviews, resolve incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Manage the end to end lifecycle of a third party relationship from onboarding to termination
  • Participate in the development and testing of third party contingency arrangements
  • Maintain a centralized repository of third-party risk information and documentation
  • Define third party risk management policies, procedures, and standards
  • Ensure third-party risk management practices are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and the board on third-party risk exposure and mitigation efforts
  • Provide training and awareness programs to internal stakeholders on third-party risk management practices
  • Leverage synergies between country risk programs and third party risk programs

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, vendor management, or a related role, preferably in the financial services or remittance industry
  • Experience with third-party risk management frameworks, tools, and best practices
  • A good understanding of the principles of risk management, control, and assurance
  • Experience with regulatory requirements related to third-party risk
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Flexible to work across multiple time zones
