Summary: As a Data Centre Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a data center. Your typical day will involve conducting physical and security checks, managing physical tape and media, assisting with vendor interventions, and acting as 'remote hands' for system administrators. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning and security of the data center environment, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of IT operations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor and maintain the physical infrastructure of the data center to ensure optimal performance. - Assist in the implementation of data center policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux Operations. - Strong understanding of server management and troubleshooting. - Experience with data center management tools and software. - Familiarity with network configurations and monitoring. - Ability to perform routine maintenance and upgrades on hardware. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Linux Operations. - This position is based at our Noida office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
