Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas operating under the QantasLink banner providing aircraft and crew to service Qantas regional ports within Western Australia. We operate a fleet of jet aircraft, including Fokker 100 and Airbus 320.

From our base at Perth Airport, we specialise in mining industry support, regional airline services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying.
 

Your new role as an Operations Manager is responsible for the oversight of aircraft maintenance activities, ensuring the delivery of quality and reliable maintenance and rectification services to a high standard, while ensuring all OHS and safety compliance is adhered to. You’ll work closely with the Engineering and Maintenance leaders to ensure the Group Operation is supported and aircraft are returned to service in a safe and efficient manner. We’re a high performing team, and we each have the opportunity to add value and make an impact on the business.


You’ll have –

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably with large groups of people
  • Strong operational background with an understanding of commercial, financial and business issues.
  • Experience in Line Maintenance Operations at a Leadership level
  • Proactive, with the ability to negotiate solutions, resolve conflicts and manage resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to work to a designated timeline
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within the Qantas Group and other Customers, particularly in the operational areas
  • Forward thinking with the ability to understand the ‘big picture’
  • A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement principles
  • Qualifications as Avionics or Mechanical LAME (desirable)
