We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Manager, Global Payment Centre who will be responsible for managing overall SWIFT and RENTAS operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and managing work process improvement and process re-engineering projects, ensuring that all operational procedures are reviewed, risk controls and measures are formulated, providing solutions and strategies to operations teams and front-line staff in handling queries. This role reports to the Global Payment Center Department.

Key Responsibilities:
Functional
  • Review operational procedures and formulate risks controls, re-engineering of work processes for effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Plan staff training programs to enhance staff competency in risk and compliance and make sure the overall administration & management of operations of the SWIFT/RENTAS section.
  • Establish service standards in line with Bank standards with stakeholders, compliance, internal controls, cut-off times, and service levels both internally and externally.
  • Institute work process changes for effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement
Managerial
  • Management and administration of SWIFT daily operations.
  • Management  and administration of work improvement and process re-engineering projects 
  • Problem-solving and decision making 
 
Job Requirements:
Education/Qualification
  • Malaysian citizen.  
  • Bachelor's Degree holder and above in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 5 years and above of relevant work experience in payments/branch operations/risk management.
  • Knowledge and experience on ISO 20022 message standard, rapport with PayNet and SWIFT would be essential.
  • Good planning and organization skills.
