Purpose

The CNS Dean’s Office is seeking a detail-oriented, organized and hard-working part-time student associate to provide an enhanced customer service experience to a diverse population of stakeholders of the College of Natural Sciences. This position is ideal for a student seeking practical hands-on customer service experience in a professional, team-oriented environment. 

To advance our core mission of fostering wellness, belonging, and success for all students. 

Responsibilities

This position assists with on-site front desk management including student appointment check-ins and multi-line phone communication most of the time. Virtual office hours, projects to support staff, long-term organizational projects, general office maintenance, and other duties as assigned make up the other. 

Required Qualifications

The position requires 10-19 hours/week during standard office hours and a set, weekly schedule.

This position is open to CNS students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3, GPA must be maintained throughout employment.

This appointment is for Spring and Summer semester 2026 with the potential to renew in the following Fall Semester.

Ideally the candidate will continue work through semesters 

Preferred Qualifications

Some experience in administrative or office work.

Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Proper telephone etiquette are preferred but not required. 

Salary Range

$10.50 per hour


Working Conditions

Must be able to lift 30lbs. 

Work Shift

10 - 19 Hours between M-F, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
