About the Role:

As a Regional Operational Marketing and Business Developer Manager, you will ensure convergence and consistency between product marketing and sales. You will also pilot development of the given market with the aim of promoting the sales results of the existing distributors and appoint those of new distributors.

Responsibilities Also Include:

I. Leader for Market data and Benchmarks

  • You collect data, develop and maintain market product & market expertise in the region (market size, trend, customer needs)

  • You assess Valeo and competitors market shares, strength and weaknesses, threat and business opportunities

  • You characterize OES customers strategy & positioning on their market

  • You identify benchmarks (customers, automotive aftermarket and other markets)

  • You define marketing contact matrix and develop local intimacy with customer

 

II. Pilot Marketing Operations in the Region

  • You build marketing strategy for the region to fuel the region budget and MTP

  • You formalize marketing operational roadmaps per customer to fuel CDP

  • You analyze monthly sales, compare with the market and propose corrective actions

  • You deploy the Augmented Service programs in your region in close cooperation with the PLM team

  • You identify and propose opportunities (quotas conquest, OE innovation, new products, new services) and to increase OES sales and profit increase

III. Deliver marketing plan as defined

  • You deliver trade marketing packaged solutions to support sales CDP in Region (training, network animation and promotion tools)

  • You adapt central proposals to the region for local deployment (smartphone applications, webinars, demo material...)

  • You prepare and ensure Valeo OES presence to regional automotive fairs, techdays and other customer events and support account managers in customer special events organization (#INVENT)

  • You support locally the Net Promoter Score measure and followup action plan (#NPS)

What You Should Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.. 

  • 5-10 years’ experience marketing, brand marketing, and advertising within automotive aftermarket to Original Equipment Supplier (OES) or experience product development with OEM’s.

IV. New Business Opportunities

  • You identify Augmented Service opportunities, set the business plan, the Go to Market and the sell-in sell-out promotion needs.(# STEPS Sustainable, Trusted, Smart, #Reman, # Accessories).
  • You manage business development project, NPA to OI and SOP, in coordination with the sales team, Divisions or  VSApurchasing  if Trade Alliance)
