Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for developing SAP ABAP applications for HANA and ensuring their smooth functioning and integration with other systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing solutions, and conducting testing and debugging activities. You will also provide technical support and guidance to end-users and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Design, develop, and test SAP ABAP applications for HANA, ensuring their smooth functioning and integration with other systems. - Conduct debugging and troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve technical issues. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing their queries and issues in a timely manner. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices. - Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP ABAP development for HANA, and share knowledge with the team. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development. - Strong understanding of SAP ABAP programming concepts, including data dictionary, modularization techniques, and object-oriented programming. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of SAP ABAP programs. - Knowledge of SAP HANA database and its integration with SAP ABAP applications. - Hands-on experience in developing and implementing SAP ABAP enhancements, reports, interfaces, and conversions. - Familiarity with SAP development tools, such as ABAP Workbench, Eclipse, and SAP GUI. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
