Process Engineering within the Thermally Induced Phase Separation Team
A day in the Life:
Lead process engineering activities within the Thermally Induced Phase Separation (TIPS) team, supporting Liqui-Cel® membrane production
Conduct in-depth process analysis across the Liqui-Cel manufacturing area to identify performance, quality, and yield improvements
Drive root-cause analysis and structured problem solving in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve OEE, process stability, and overall production efficiency
Support and advance the qualification and scale-up of new products within a rapidly growing technology segment
Take end-to-end ownership of a complex manufacturing process, acting as the technical authority and cross-functional interface (without direct people management)
Keys to Success:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering (Verfahrenstechnik), Process Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Professional experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (experience in regulated or high-precision production is a plus)
Solid understanding of textile-based membrane technologies or comparable materials/processes
Hands-on experience with production processes and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies is highly advantageous
Strong motivation to learn and operate within a highly complex, multi-factor production environment
Very good command of English (spoken and written); good working knowledge of German
