Summary:
Responsible for building and facility maintenance including the following:
•
Supervise, train, and direct activities of all facilities maintenance personnel including:
o
Janitorial
o
Plant Systems Maintenance
o
Fabrication
•
Establish and maintain PM schedule for all facilities equipment including:
o
Building structure
o
AC/ Heating Systems
o
Cooling tower and chillers
o
Conveyor / rail system
o
Outside grounds and parking lot
o
Fire extinguishers; cranes; eye wash stations and safety equipment
•
Maintain repair and PM records as required by ISO system
o
Includes preventive and predictive maintenance
•
Monitor and complete all work orders in a timely manner
•
Maintain and operate within budget requirements
•
Obtain quotes and utilize contractors as required
•
Maintain all facilities in a manner, which enables plant to meet all operational budgets and requirements.
•
Participate and provide status reports in staff meetings
•
Maintain repair and PM records as required by ISO and SQF system
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing, performance appraisals, addressing complaints and resolving problems of all facility maintenance personnel.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Four-year college or university program certificate; or two or four year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts and fundamentals of plane and geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
