We are seeking a highly skilled T&T PMO Start-up Lead with a strong background in software engineering to support the initiation, governance, and execution of transformation programs. This role combines technical expertise with program coordination, ensuring effective start-up, structure, and delivery of projects within Technology & Transformation (T&T) environments.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in software development, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges while establishing project governance and standards.

What you'll do:

  • Contribute to software development projects, focusing on coding, testing, and debugging complex and critical components.
  • Support the start-up and governance of programs and projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in design discussions, requirements definition, and code reviews.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert (SME), providing guidance and support to project teams.
  • Assist in solving complex technical challenges, researching and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Support the definition of software requirements, technical specifications, and delivery frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with operations and support teams.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and technical growth.
  • Support PMO activities such as project tracking, reporting, and process standardization.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a similar technical or program coordination role.
  • Strong experience in software engineering and development practices.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development methodologies.
  • Excellent coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management frameworks.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of complex technical and program challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field (a plus).
  • Experience in PMO environments, program start-up, or transformation initiatives (T&T).
  • Certifications or training in project management, Agile, or software engineering practices.
