Job Summary


The Home Print Product & Portfolio organization is seeking a Strategic Planner & Events lead reporting to the VP of Home Print Product & Portfolio. In this role, you will work side by side with stakeholders, direct staff and collaborate with partner organizations driving the creation, coordination, and communication of business plans to maximize identified opportunities and achieve performance goals. The role continuously drives better business practices and increased value to the business through consistent measurement and improvement of key activity metrics and ensuring timely alignment, decision making & execution. Additionally, this role is the Home Global Business Unit (GBU) coordinator  for planning external events e.g. Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Amplify, WAM (portfolio alignment with CO/Markets), and preparing external communication decks for executives.   An excellent role to influence strategy, demonstrate executive presence and communication skills internally & externally, and to impact the portfolio transformation of the Home print business.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the creation, coordination, and communication readiness for executive reviews internally & executive communications externally.

  • Manage event planning for external events e.g. CES, Amplify, customer visits and internal events e.g. WAM, staff workshops, AEMs

  • Coordinate key strategic initiatives such as Home Product & Portfolio long-term business planning (LTP),  market research planning, budget planning and VIA driving cross-functional team alignment, prioritization, and execution

  • Partner across the Home division, owning the Home Business Management Team (BMT) Agenda and own responsibility for the BMT forum ensuring critical and timely Home business alignment,  follow up delivery and results• Define, drive, implement processes and metrics required to measure organizational performance and operational efficiency holding team accountable for timely delivery at executive level

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, recommends approaches for executing high-level strategies and develops creative solutions.

  • Builds network across HP for best practices and continuous improvement

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, product management or a related field.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

The base pay range for this role is $130,350 to $200,750 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
