Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Consent Management Platform (CMP) Consultant with 10+ years of experience in implementing consent management solutions, particularly with OneTrust CMP. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions while engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

As organizations face an increasingly complex regulatory landscape, the need for robust consent and preference management solutions has never been greater. The Consent Management Platform Consultant / Manager will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the intricacies of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and industry-specific requirements. This role demands a combination of technical acumen, strategic vision, and strong interpersonal skills to help clients establish transparent data practices, foster consumer trust, and ensure compliance at every step of the customer journey. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with leading consent management platforms, a deep understanding of data flows and integrations, and the ability to translate legal and business requirements into actionable platform configurations.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that our client's privacy practices are not only compliant with regulations but also aligned with their business goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Oversee Documentations:

• Lead the documentation process for both technical and business requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness. This includes creating detailed specifications for functionalities, integration points, and user experiences related to consent management.

Develop User Stories and Workflows:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop user stories and preferences center workflows that align with prioritized use cases. Ensure that these workflows are user-centric and promote optimal engagement while maintaining compliance.

Holistic Implementation Approach:

• Work closely with key client stakeholders to design and implement a holistic approach to how preference and consent fit into the overall enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the organization’s data governance and privacy strategies.

Stakeholder Management:

• Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and deliverables. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and validate solutions with stakeholders.

Technical Configuration and Support:

• Provide hands-on support in the technical configuration of the OneTrust CMP platform, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes, including CRM and marketing automation tools.

Compliance Assessment:

• Assess current consent management practices against relevant compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA) and provide recommendations for improvements, ensuring the organization can maintain compliance effortlessly.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:

• Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal teams and clients on effective usage of the CMP, emphasizing best practices in data privacy and user consent management.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in consent management and data privacy, applying this knowledge to continuously improve implementation and practices within the organization and for clients.

Project Lifecycle Management:

• Oversee all phases of project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution and post-implementation support, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgetary constraints.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Proven experience in documenting technical and business requirements and developing user stories.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and experience in implementing these within organizations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Technical proficiency in the OneTrust platform, including hands-on experience with its configuration and customization.

Additional Information:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in consulting, with a strong focus on consent management platforms, particularly OneTrust.
