Position Start Date No Earlier Than February 3, 2025

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • English language communications required.  

  • Excellent customer service skills.  

  • Proficient knowledge of computer software to include inventory control and Microsoft Excel.  

  • Previous warehouse/receiving experience required.  

  • Requires full availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Performs receiving activities according to accepted procedures, verifies receipt of materials and supplies as specified on purchase order documents.  

  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend; lift and carry up to 50 plus pounds.  

  • Notifies Storeroom Supervisor and Purchasing of any receiving related discrepancies, to facilitate request for credit or replacement or damaged or discrepant goods.  

  • Transports materials to appropriate storage area in a timely manner.  

  • Ensure proper dating, tagging of all food products, materials placed into storeroom.  

  • Adheres to all food safety and sanitation requirements.  

  • Performs all operations necessary to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the receiving area.  

  • Completes computerized receiving reports and transmits receiving documentation.

  • Maintains organized purchase order and receiving documentation files.  

  • Assists in the performance of monthly/quarterly/annual inventories.  

  • Other duties as assigned.
