Job description

The role

The Accountant Staff/ Order-to-Cash AR Specialist will be under the supervision of Accounting Supervisor, and your responsibilities includes work across multiple areas of accounting as follows:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Auditing, Economics, or equivalent field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable, especially within Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  • English: Full professional working proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) – Mandatory for Daily Communication.
  • Experience in using ERP, Oracle/SAP is preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting methods.
  • Knowledge of VAS, Tax, Labor law (for Social, Health Insurance, Unemployment Insurance and Severance Allowance).
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and J-SOX, SAP, and Oracle Financials applications would be advantageous.
  • Able to organize, process and manage a large volume of transactions and documentation
  • Proficiency in using basic software such as MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Professional, self-motivated and results oriented, highly responsible and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • General responsibility in book-keeping and reporting of accounts receivable, accounts payable.
  • Ensure that all accounting documents are checked, prepared and approved properly and recognize them in the correct accounts.
  • Follow up with AR collection and AP payment and report to direct manager/ team leader / Chief Accountant.
  • Maintaining the billing/Payment system
  • Generating invoices/ receiving invoices and account statements.
  • Performing account reconciliations.
  • Maintaining accounts receivable/ Account payable files and records.
  • Producing monthly financial and management reports.
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries.
  • Assisting in general financial management and analysis.
