Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of essential applications. The engineer collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and swiftly resolve disruptions, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of business processes. The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability and a keen eye for detail to support complex software ecosystems effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement of support processes.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks to prevent business disruptions.
Support all the critical incidents in the area of Costing and Material Ledger.
Should be able to analyze and resolve all the critical month end issues in the area of Material Leger + Costing including cost estimates, variance related issues, BOM, CKMLCP, integration issues with ML
Should be able to work on minor enhancements proposed by the client in the areas of ML and Product costing including working with the ABAP team
Should be able to support testing in ML and Costing as required including creation of the test data
Lead the CO team in the areas of ML and Costing and if possible in CO-PA as well.


Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP CO Management Accounting.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues within SAP CO modules.
- Experience in managing and supporting financial and controlling processes in enterprise environments.
- Ability to interpret and analyze business requirements to provide effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP CO and other SAP modules or external systems.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Minimum of more than 5- 6 years of experience working in core ML and Costing issues.
Should possess good configuration knowledge in Product costing and Material Ledger
Should have hands on experience either in an implementation role or support role in the areas of Material Ledger and Costing
Must have knowledge on Material Ledger and Product Costing
Good to have the knowledge on CO-PA


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP CO Management Accounting.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
