Procter & Gamble is looking for a skilled and innovative SQL Software Developer to join our dynamic development team.

As a junior SQL Software Engineer in our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Query Writing and Optimization: Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Database Maintenance: Perform routine tasks like backups, data quality checks, and performance monitoring.
• Troubleshooting: Help identify and resolve database issues, working under the guidance of senior developers.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation of database structures, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with product managers & business partners to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive web applications.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and browsers.
• Write unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Working within Databricks & Microsoft Azure Cloud environments
• Maintaining code integrity and organization, including data security and privacy compliance.
• Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Learning and Growth: Continuously learn and improve SQL programming skills, seeking guidance, and mentoring as needed.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and implement robust software solutions.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering
• Exposure to SQL programming and database management, including T-SQL.
• A first experience with / use of C# .NET
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Learning Aptitude: Enthusiasm for continuous learning and growth in the field of SQL development.
• Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality and well-structured code
• Understanding of the full software development life cycle, particularly in an Agile Dev/Ops
• Familiarity with code management (GitHub) and testing frameworks (e.g. Snyk)
