The Opportunity
This position works out of our Livermore, CA location in the Abbott Heart Failure, Acelis Connected Health (ACH) business. Our Heart Failure solutions are helping address some of the World’s greatest healthcare challenges. As the Director, Program Management, Healthcare Services & Software you’ll direct the Project Management Office, Business Analytics, and Process Excellence departments to analyze, define, gain management approval, and implement key strategic programs. Leads and manages high impact change programs that significantly improve the product experience and productivity of the division.
What You’ll Work On
Lead program planning, execution, and delivery for programs across full portfolio of software products and healthcare services
Manage and mentor the following functional teams: project management, business analytics (e.g. PowerBI reporting), and process excellence (e.g. lean / six sigma).
Drive risk identification and mitigation across all programs
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with end-to-end business functions: Software Engineering, Revenue Cycle Management, Commercial, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Communicate program status and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field.
10yr+ experienced in managing complex software programs in regulated industries
Strong background in risk management and program delivery in a highly matrixed, geographically diverse environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities while holding others accountable
Proactive problem solver focused on leading by example with an emphasis on quality and compliance
Ability to travel approximately 10%, with occasional international trips.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Healthcare Services (e.g. DME, IDTF), Medical Devices, or other regulated Healthcare industry
Black belt in lean / six sigma
Experience with PowerBI and/or other business performance software

The base pay for this position is
$169,300.00 – $338,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
