Do work that matters:

As a manager within the Governance team, you will be accountable for supporting the Group’s Third Party Business Continuity Management program (including reviewing third party business continuity frameworks) and the Group’s internal contingency plan framework (including reviewing and providing SME inputs on contingency plans prepared by business stakeholders). The role will also support the Senior Manager, Business Resilience Governance on a number of risk and compliance activities, including compliance attestations and controls assessments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting reviews on Third Party Business Continuity Management frameworks, including reviewing their business continuity plans, disaster recovery plans, crisis management plans;
  • Reviewing and providing SME inputs on contingency plans prepared by business stakeholders;
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships with key stakeholders, including Group Procurement, Business Units and Risk and Governance functions across the Group;
  • Supporting compliance activities, including attestations against prudential and regulatory requirements imposed by APRA, RBA, etc.;
  • Collaborating with Line 1 and Line 2 Risk and Compliance teams to perform risk and controls, and compliance self-assessments in relation to business disruption risk;
  • Assisting in the review of the Group’s business continuity management policy framework;
  • Conduct training and capability transfer programs to ensure business units can deliver on their third party business continuity responsibilities; and
  • Support Senior Leadership as required with reporting to risk committees, continuous improvement, change management and program compliance activities.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Strong knowledge of business continuity frameworks and regulations, including ISO 22301:2019, CPS 232, SPS 232, CPS 231, and CPS 230;
  • Sound understanding of risk and compliance management frameworks;
  • Experience in supplier management and/or governance role is beneficial;
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management experience and ability to influence decision-making;
  • Strong problem-solving/analytical thinking that translates to effective drafting and presentation skills.
