Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support product-related business decisions, roadmap and strategy within the local subsidiary for new and existing product lineup.
Ensure new product information and coordination is shared with internal stakeholders, including DtC and Marcom
Assist PM team with industry forecast, including market growth projections, and TAM analysis
Gather and prepare competitive intel, online research, and market and industry analysis including vertical analysis for industry trends, and customer segmentation and preference
Use market data to complete competitive pricing analysis using Circana data for B2C MON & MEM and IDC data for LCD S/S. Review at the SKU level, Samsung pricing vs. competition pin-to-pin models, and provide monthly CPI analysis to PMs.
Review HQ’s SKU level CP report monthly, flagging any SKUs with low profit or big profit swings. This includes reporting CP by key segments (gaming, HRM etc.)
SKU creation, analysis of SKU transition from old to new models, and timelines for risk and on-time delivery
Execution and analysis of RTF SKU shortage, aging and other PM reports as required on a weekly basis summarizing gap, shortages, or other with reasons and recommendations for the PM team to address
Align with PM team on S.com E-Store initiatives, communicate to relevant stakeholders, and track execution to ensure that tasks are completed. This includes submission of CMF for DtC/R.com and maintenance of pricing changes
Provide support during launch timeframes in terms of updating and communicating launch schedules, price lists and other related tasks
Provide monthly management reporting for spend profit and share including fluctuation and risk analysis with recommendations
Prepare presentations in collaboration with PMs for upper management
Participate in coordination with the Product management team in the decision-making process and strategy development for every category and overall company goals.
Support implementation of business strategies covering all pricing, channel programs and marketing promotions, developing strategies to maximize sales among customers based on geography, channel type, price segmentation, business model and target market, expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets.
Support the development of product portfolios to achieve the strategic plan, meet business objectives and increase the company’s competitive position
Skills and Qualifications
Requirements
Education:
Business/Marketing degree or certificate (or equivalent) from a recognized college/institute preferred
Knowledge:
Display product knowledge a definite plus
Strong operational and financial management skills a definite plus
Comfortable and proficient using Microsoft Office Products (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management/Marketing/Supply Chain in IT industry preferred
Good presentation and product training skills
Quick learner and eager to work in a highly dynamic working environment
The ability to plan, organize, collaborate on and measure the effectiveness and results of all programs and project.
The ability to analyze and disseminate market information
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $68,000 to $94,000 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.
