The Culinary Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering catered food to the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team at their spring training facility in Port Charlotte while providing excellent customer service. This role ensures orders are accurate, on time, and presented professionally. Additional daily kitchen duties will be assigned as needed. This position is based at our commissary kitchen in Englewood, FL. 

 

Seasonal full-time & part-time roles available | Pay starting at $19/hr based on experience

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, transport, and deliver catering orders safely and on time
• Verify order accuracy before departure and upon delivery
• Set up food displays when required
• Communicate professionally with on-site team members and clients
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles, equipment, and work areas
• Practice proper grooming, personal hygiene, and uniform standards
• Assist with additional kitchen and prep duties as directed

 

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to:
  • Lift 40–50 lbs
  • Push carts weighing up to 300 lbs
  • Stand for extended periods
  • Work in high-temperature kitchen environments
  • Bend, kneel, and stoop as needed
• Strong time management skills and reliability
• Professional appearance with excellent customer service skills
• ServSafe Food Handler or Manager Certification (willing to obtain)
• Willingness to submit to a background check and drug test

 

Schedule Requirements:

• Open availability required during February, March, and April
• Typical shifts range from early mornings to mid-afternoons
• Ability to work 40+ hours per week and 8+ hour shifts as needed
