POSITION PURPOSE:
Provide primary support for providers utilizing electronic health record system (EHR).  Coordinate provider training and maintain current knowledge of the organization policies, procedures, and business operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•    Act as the primary support for providers across the organization.

•    Troubleshoot problems and questions.

•    Work 1:1 with providers to analyze, document, and optimize provider workflows and preferences for safe and efficient care delivery.

•    Attend provider training sessions and provide supplemental training support including but not limited to order sets, templates, and documentation tools.

•    Create materials for and conduct readiness activities, ongoing training, and other supplemental training tools.

•    Communicate new system functionality, features and best practices.

•    Monitor and interpret clinical data to identify trends, gaps, or areas for improvement.

•    Monitor metrics for CPOE rates, documentation compliance, and quality benchmarks to increase compliance.

•    Gather provider feedback and translate into actionable system requests or enhancements.

•    Act as a liaison between clinical teams and IT/EHR support teams.

•    Other duties as assigned.

SPECIALIZED KNOW-HOW & REQUIREMENTS

•    Current Illinois licensure as an Advanced Practice Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) required

•    2-3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred

•    1-3 years of informatics experience or working directly with EHR systems preferred

•    Epic certification preferred

•    Must be able to obtain Epic certification within 6 months of attending Epic training.
 

Compensation Range

$90,000.00 - $135,000.00
