Hybrid Nurse, Dedicated Care Collingwood
The Role:
Medcan is recruiting for a Hybrid Nurse (RN) to join our Dedicated Care Team.
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused professional with a great attitude who can work independently and as part of a team. This role includes on-site Clinic Nurse responsibilities at Medcan’s new Collingwood location (40 Huron Street, Unit #202). The Clinic Nurse is accountable for the effective delivery of screening and primary care nursing services for clients during their clinic appointments and other Medcan services. This role includes remote work as a Dedicated Care Nurse Consultant, acting as the main point of contact for patients providing guidance, education and support. The role works closely with a small multi-disciplinary team of physicians and client coordinators to provide timely communication of results and follow up care to the client.
This is a permanent role with full-time hours scheduled primarily during business hours, 8am-5:30pm, Monday through Saturday. Occasional Statutory Holiday shifts may be required on rotation. The role is accountable for carrying a pager for on-call coverage on rotation with the team every 6-8 weeks. The successful candidate will receive a quarterly shift schedule outlining on-site and remote shifts, including two Saturday shifts per month (remote).
This role reports to Site Manager, Collingwood.
