AOS India

Qualifications Required:  

 

 Education: Post M.Sc. Diploma in Radiological Physics/M.Sc. Medical Physics (recognized by AERB.) 

 Certification: RSO Level III certification from AERB 

 Experience: 1-3 years. 

 

Skillsets: Good Knowledge of therapeutic & diagnostic areas; good written and verbal communication skills & Team Spirit. 

    Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 

 

Minimum Requirement:  

  • At least 2 years of experience with Aria and Eclipse planning system. 
  • Experience with TrueBeam and Halcyon is preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT) planning. 
  • Should have solid knowledge and some experience in commissioning Linear Accelerators (Linacs). 


 Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Develop treatment plans for IMRT, VMAT, SRS/SBRT and contouring. 
  • Implements and maintains clinical best practices for various treatment modalities and techniques. 
  • Supports Clinical Physics and Dosimetry Staff through education and periodic coverage. 
  • Assistance with commissioning and acceptance testing of all treatment and quality assurance (QA)-related equipment, including Linac, as required by the commissioning group. 
  • TPS commissioning and Validation. 
  • To get approval for the location and layout of the radiotherapy facility. 
  • Generating Shielding reports and validations. 
  • Ensure that the radiation facility complies with the Atomic Energy (Radiation Protection) regulations. 
  • Maintain and regularly update licenses and approvals required for the operation of radiation facilities. 
  • Ensure that radiation exposure levels are monitored and kept within the permissible limits as prescribed by AERB. 

 

General: 

 

  • Position includes travel within India and international travel.   
  • Follows and exemplifies the code of practice and policies as per AOS. 
  •  Any other work as assigned by the reporting manager.
