Product Designer needed to join our team on a contract basis, here at VML Enterprise Solutions.

The opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and talented Product Designer to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is ideal for a creative individual who excels in both user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design and is eager to craft exceptional online experiences that drive engagement and impact. You will be at the forefront of the digital design, working collaboratively with a cross-functional team to create dynamic, immersive, rich experiences. This role will be instrumental in shaping the direction of solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

You are a talented and enthusiastic Product Designer with a keen eye for detail and a professional approach to your craft. Your passion for both UX and UI design drives you to find smarter ways of creating outstanding online experiences across various products, services, sectors, devices, and channels. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering exceptional brand experiences while continually seeking to innovate and improve. Your proactive learning attitude and eagerness to share knowledge make you a valuable team player who contributes positively to the collective effort.

Specifically, you will:

  • Collaborate with UX/UI Leads, Content Designers, Product Managers, Developers, and Clients as part of the creative process.
  • Investigate how existing products work or how services are used to input into solution feasibility.
  • Utilize user research, data, and insights to drive design decisions.
  • Create and execute solutions to solve user experience deficiencies and meet business needs.
  • Design digital brand identities and pixel-perfect responsive interfaces showcasing attention to detail.
  • Create design artifacts including wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI elements.
  • Clearly and persuasively present and communicate design concepts and solutions.
  • Maintain and extend pixel-perfect design components to ensure they meet evolving user needs and industry standards.
  • Develop and apply design systems, adhering to user-centered design practices, conversion principles, and accessibility standards.
  • Work closely with design leads to ensure quality and preparation of deliverables for handoff to developers, clients, and partners.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design quality and user experience through research and testing, iterative design, and feedback integration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, technologies, and AI capabilities.

What we want from you:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects demonstrating both UX and UI skills.
  • Proven experience designing for web and mobile platforms, with a deep understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other prototyping tools.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing in Lookback, Maze, or similar platforms.
  • Experience facilitating workshops in Figjam, Miro, Mural, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • A passion for creating engaging and user-centered experiences.
  • Experience working with global brands or within a large organization is a plus.
  • Experience with design systems and tokens is a plus.
  • Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Experience with design-led ideation and facilitation is a plus.
