As a Patch Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end patch management process, conducting vulnerability assessments and deploying patches to mitigate risks, ensuring system security across enterprise infrastructure, endpoints, server hardware, operating systems, and applications. You will collaborate closely with client, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure patches are tested, deployed, and monitored effectively, minimizing operational disruptions and maintaining system integrit
Responsibilities:
 
  • Patch Management & Vulnerability Assessments:
    Regularly assess vulnerabilities and prioritise patches to mitigate security risks across infrastructure, endpoints, servers, and applications.

  • Patch Deployment:
    Coordinate and deploy patches and updates to systems and applications while minimizing business disruption.

  • Collaboration with IT client’s team:
    Work with cross functional and IT Client’s teams to ensure patch management policies, procedures, and guidelines are followed across the organization

  • Testing & Validation
    Ensure patches are thoroughly tested for compatibility and stability before deployment.

  • Reporting & Metrics:
    Prepare detailed reports on patch compliance, system performance, and vulnerability remediation. Provide insights and updates to senior leadership on patch management progress.

  • Incident Response Support:
    ​Assist in responding to security incidents related to patching or vulnerabilities.

  • Troubleshooting:
    ​Investigate and resolve patch-related issues in collaboration with other teams.

  • Change Management:
    ​Ensure patch management activities comply with change management processes and risk assessments.

  • Continuous Improvement:
    ​Analyse vulnerabilities, patching gaps, and emerging threats, and propose continuous improvement plans to enhance patch management processes.

  • Security Assessments & Audits:
    Support security assessments, audits, and technical evaluations of security controls related to patch management.

  • ​​​Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

    • Experience: 4+ years in patch management, vulnerability remediation, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of patch deployment strategies and tools.

    • Technical Skills: Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Qualys, Nessus), patch deployment tools (e.g., SCCM, WSUS, Tanium), and managing patches for both Microsoft and Linux operating systems is an advantage

    • Communication Skills:  Excellent communication in French and English to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
