About the Team

As we grow the Peakon engineering organization at Workday, we are looking for a quality assurance engineer to join us in Copenhagen. You would be joining the DevEx team, responsible for maintaining a great developer experience at Peakon. The DevEx team takes on various tech projects which are defined, vetted, and approved by our own engineers with the support of our engineering leadership. The team consists of frontend, backend, and automation engineers. The DevEx team works closely with the Platform team, responsible for our product’s infrastructure, and the Foundation team, responsible for non-feature related code base.

The Peakon organization at Workday is driven by the belief that we can radically change the world of work. We believe that when an organization listens to employee feedback and empowers every employee to drive the change they want to see, it can create more fulfilling jobs and grow in ways never before imagined.

We’re in the business of creating great places to work, so it should be no surprise that being a great place to work is our highest priority. With ambitions as big as ours, we see individual growth and development as the key strategy for growing our business.

About the Role

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of the tools and platforms that empower our developers. Your focus will be on enhancing the developer experience through supporting the DevEx team with testing guidance and process improvements. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and satisfaction of our development teams, enabling them to build and deliver high-quality products.

As part of the Peakon team at Workday, you’ll:

  • Develop and implement QA strategies that align with the team objectives.

  • Provide testing guidance and training to help the team deliver a robust and well-tested platform.

  • Create comprehensive test plans for new developments and updates of existing infrastructure.

  • Conduct exploratory testing on new platform features and services to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations.

  • Proactively plan and coordinate testing activities.

  • Collaborate with software engineers and QA engineers to ensure high confidence in the quality of new releases.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!
