Position Overview:

This role will be responsible for defining and executing NAVAN’s commercial growth strategy, with a primary focus on building and leading a high-performing dealer network across the U.S. The position will support NAVAN’s growth through dealer development and regional business leadership, evolving as the network scales. This role will drive sales performance, strengthen dealer partnerships, and ensure consistent execution of NAVAN’s brand and customer experience standards while partnering cross-functionally to support long-term, profitable growth.

Essential Functions:

Channel Development

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive dealer acquisition strategy to achieve optimal market coverage and representation.
  • Lead all aspects of dealer identification, evaluation, negotiation, and onboarding in alignment with NAVAN objectives and brand standards.
  • Define dealer performance expectations, and compliance with brand and operational guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with dealer principals and management teams.

Commercial & Sales Strategy

  • Develop annual and long-range sales plans, revenue targets, and margin objectives for NAVAN’s product portfolio.
  • Drive retail and wholesale sales performance through effective forecasting, sales programs, and market development initiatives.
  • Monitor competitive activity, pricing trends, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to manage sales planning, order fulfillment, and inventory optimization.

Dealer Performance Management

  • Implement performance measurement systems to monitor dealer results, customer satisfaction, and operational compliance.
  • Design and execute dealer incentive and training programs to improve retail performance and brand alignment.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and field visits to ensure consistent execution of sales, service, and marketing standards.

Brand & Market Development

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Product teams to ensure coordinated launch and go-to-market plans for new models.
  • Represent NAVAN at major boat shows, dealer meetings, and industry events to strengthen market presence.
  • Lead initiatives that reinforce NAVAN’s premium brand positioning and customer value proposition.

Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing commercial organization, that paces in accordance with business growth objectives.
  • Define performance goals and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare and present regular business performance reports to the senior leadership team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales or sales management, preferably in the marine or power sports industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing distribution channels and dealer networks.
  • Experience with territory management and customer call planning.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, e-marketing skills a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of basic financial statements (Income, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.)
  • Proficiency with problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional level.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $84,500 - $123,900 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
