Job Summary

The Floater, Patient Care Coordinator, will play a vital role in supporting infusion and injection treatments for patients across McKesson’s INVIVA clinics.

As the Coordinator, you’ll be the key link between patients, healthcare professionals, and internal teams.

This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values precision, and enjoys working collaboratively to make a real difference in patient care.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Process patient referrals and schedule appointments promptly.
  • Confirm nurse availability and pharmacy delivery for treatments.
  • Ensure all medical therapies are scheduled according to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Contact patients to confirm appointments and provide clear instructions.
  • Send welcome emails and maintain excellent communication throughout their care journey.
  • Manage inbound/outbound calls and emails within KPI standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in scheduling systems.
  • Support rescheduling and handle no-show follow-ups.
  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacy teams, and program coordinators.
  • Assist in ensuring clinics have the right resources and supplies for every treatment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma / degree in customer service or administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing customer support in a call center or administrative capacity.

Key Competencies

  • Prior experience in coordinating client/patient services is a strong asset.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and scheduling systems.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical administration, or clinic settings preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset.
