General Summary:
To best amplify global Publicity strategy and ensure local executions by maximising exposure across all media. Responsibilities include maintaining press relationships, writing press releases, coordinating junkets, securing media placements, and organizing press screenings and premieres. Be a good team player.
Key Responsibilities:
Publicity (Traditional, Digital, Social media)
Pitch key media and secure online placement of trailers, one sheet arts, film clips, editorial features, reviews, talent interviews etc. for upcoming films
Planning and implementing publicity campaigns including press releases and local events, and collaborations of local film distributions
Maintain and manage press lists, relationships with key press, entertainment sites, influencers, and WB’s journalist portal, ensuring up-to-date film assets and regular updates to press, media partners, and ticketing sites.
Collaborate with creative agencies on the translation & adaptation of localized materials (e.g. production notes, stories, Q&A etc.)
Collate post-screening reaction, press review and other publicity reports for each movie release
Monitor online movie ratings, buzz index and netizens’ reviews or word of mouth as well as competitor’s publicity activities, analyze the impact of publicity strategy and adjust as needed
Manage talent tours, press junkets, premieres and screenings activities
Promotions
Pitch and foster media promotions
Coordinate book publisher or soundtrack publisher promotions including necessary approval process
Experience required:
College graduate
5 years working experience in publicity field, entertainment experience is a plus
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal skills with confident public speaking ability
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Power point, Word, Excel)
Strong understanding of social media and internet culture
Excellent analytical skills and experience with online analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, OP view)
A film lover is a plus
