Your Role at a Glance

Every day begins with a strong focus on safety. The Parts & Services Leader ensures that Sandvik’s Safety and Environment policies are not just understood but actively embraced by all stakeholders. This means leading by example—participating in safety activities and reinforcing the importance of health and safety across the team.

With safety as the foundation, the day moves into strategic execution. The leader collaborates with stakeholders to drive the Parts & Services Business Plan and Strategy, aligning efforts across the Sales Area. Demand planning, budgeting, and forecasting are routine tasks, with close monitoring of monthly performance to ensure targets are met.

The team’s success is a priority. Clear sales targets are set to foster a performance-driven culture, and tailored training programs—covering technical, application, and soft skills—are mapped and delivered to support continuous development. Leading cross-cultural and virtual teams requires a commitment to Sandvik’s core values and leadership model, ensuring everyone feels connected and empowered.

Monthly review meetings with the Parts & Services Division are key checkpoints, followed by action-oriented follow-ups. Inventory control and net working capital planning are also part of the daily rhythm, alongside staying informed about competitor activities to keep Sandvik ahead in the market.

Collaboration is constant. The leader ensures alignment between the Sales Area’s sales and service teams and the Division’s technical and sales support teams. Together with Territory Managers, business development plans are crafted and implemented to grow the Parts & Services footprint.

Understanding the customer is central to everything. The leader invests time in learning about customer operations and processes, building relationships that go beyond transactions. Finally, succession planning ensures the team is future-ready, with key Territory Aftermarket roles identified and nurtured for long-term success.
