Role Accountabilities:
This position takes work direction from the Sr. Manager – Digital Solutions, Data & Analytics within GBS and is responsible for leading Automation and AI initiatives across the enterprise:

  • Leading the design, development, and execution of enterprise-grade Automation, AI/ML, and Agentic AI solutions to enhance GBS processes and analytics.

  • Serving as the GBS AI/Automation Lead, providing expert guidance on AI solution design, automation frameworks, model governance, and responsible AI principles.

  • Partnering with GBS leaders, SMEs, and DTS to define automation and AI roadmaps aligned to strategic business objectives.

  • Ensuring all AI and Automation solutions comply with Kimberly-Clark’s global standards, risk frameworks, internal controls, and data governance policies.

  • Leading agile delivery cycles across ideation, design, development, testing, deployment, and value realization for Automation and AI initiatives.

  • Identifying automation opportunities by analyzing data patterns, workflows, and system behavior using tools such as Power BI, Celonis, and process mining platforms.

  • Coaching teams across GBS on AI literacy, automation opportunities, and responsible usage of GenAI/Agentic AI tools; supporting development of training modules and office hours.

  • Partnering with Global Process Owners to develop transformation roadmaps, drive end‑to‑end process optimization, and embed scalable automation and AI solutions.

  • Supporting change management initiatives to accelerate adoption of AI capabilities and build a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across GBS.

  • Ensuring AI platform architecture, tools, and solutions provided by DTS remain aligned with GBS business needs, industry standards, and market trends.

  • Driving enhancements to analytics, reporting, desktop automation, and process mining capabilities as business needs evolve.

  • Supporting new migrations by designing process health metrics, readiness assessments, and intelligent automation opportunities to stabilize new transitions.

 

The GBS Global Automation & AI Lead position requires:
Key Skills:
 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes, data structures, and AI solution requirements.

  • Hands-on experience with AI frameworks, machine learning model development, and programming languages (Python/R/SQL).

  • Solid understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Automation technologies, and integration with enterprise systems.

  • Robotics Process Automation knowledge (Blue Prism or similar) and understanding of AI-driven automation patterns.

  • Strong business acumen with understanding of end-to-end GBS processes (STP, OTC, RTR, Master Data, HTR).

  • Proficiency with analytics and process intelligence tools such as Celonis, Power BI, VBA, Tableau, etc.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Innovative thinker with strategic foresight and ability to design future-ready AI/automation capabilities.

  • High resilience, enthusiasm, and ability to manage complex or stressful situations.

  • Ability to challenge the status quo, generate new ideas, and drive cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong discipline in analyzing, designing, and standardizing business processes.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in AI, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3+ years of recent experience in AI solutions development.

  • Strong experience in automation/AI solution architecture, ML model development, and enterprise-scale digital transformation.

  • Demonstrated experience leading AI/automation programs in a GBS, shared services, or global operational environment.

  • Proficiency in AI/ML tools, automation platforms, programming languages, and analytics systems.

  • Experience working in a matrix environment and influencing cross-functional teams.

  • Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficient English speaker (regional language is a plus).
