Compensation

Hourly base pay rate is $16.59 - $24.86/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

Perform data entry of charges that need to be applied to a vehicle before it sells, and verify that information is accurately recorded

Maintain documentation, verification of invoices to ensure correct amount on the work orders compared to actual invoice cost

Respond to department inquiries relating to status of parts and vehicle repair, provide quality service, and assist in resolving problems

Communicate with departments and management on daily basis to make sure all information is received and posted before a sale.

Submit estimates via email to proper accounts

Maintain current knowledge of account contracts relating to posting.

Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

1 – 3 years of clerical or administrative experience in automotive industry preferred.

Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Good communication and organizational skills required.

Basic computer software skills necessary.

Must be able to use general office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, etc.).

Good leadership skills required; must be able to lead and motivate people.

Self-managed and directed.

Medium strength; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Stooping, bending, twisting, climbing stairs, pushing pulling, walking and reaching may be required for the completion of job duties.

Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks, manual dexterity. Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception

Work Environment:

Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. May be required to sit for long periods of time at a desk or a computer terminal with the use of calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday. Occasional exposure to high noise level.

To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test. Cox Automotive does not currently administer a pre-employment drug test for marijuana for this position. However, we are a drug-free workplace, so the possession, use or being under the influence of drugs illegal under federal or state law during work hours, on company property and/or in company vehicles is prohibited.
