Everybody has data but at Walmart, the sheer volume of data can be infinite. IoT Platform team helps in managing millions of smart devices across Stores, Distribution centres and campuses. This team uses cutting edge technology to identify the device errors and initiate a remediation action.
We are looking for Software Engineer 3 to join IoT Platform team at Walmart Labs. As a Software Engineer in the team, you will have the opportunity to work on large scale projects to make a lasting impact on the associate experience. What you'll do:
Develop and maintain responsive web and mobile applications using React Native and JavaScript (ES6+).
Build server-side applications and RESTful APIs .NET technologies.
Work with version control systems (e.g. Git) and manage deployment processes.
Experience with cloud services (e.g. Azure) along with Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and improve user experience.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance our development processes.
You will collaborate with a geographically distributed team daily.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
4+ years of experience in Proficiently using JavaScript, ES6+, React Native and .NET.
Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, and frameworks).
Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Cosmos).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Customer obsession and the ability to develop solutions that delight them
Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and an ability to deal with ambiguity
Comfortable working with software engineers to develop scalable solutions
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle.
Stimulated by challenges and ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale
