Background:
The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibility:
• Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities.
• Requirement gathering & understanding, effort estimation, technical design
* Directly impacts the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and others; impacts own team and closely related work teams.
* Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks
* Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery
* Customer interfacing - understand customer requirements, propose technical solutions.
* Full Software Development Lifecycle
* Code reviews, test case reviews and ensure code developed meets the requirements
* Component Design/ Coding/ Unit Testing/ Debugging
Skill set:
Java developer with 2-4 years of experience. Candidate should be able to work independently, good communication skills, and should have experience in working on complex and medium to large projects.
Technical Skills Required:
- Java Developer
- Good knowledge OOPS fundamentals
- good understanding of SQL
- Awareness of Middleware technologies like Tibco/Solace
